The Surrogate

Previously...

I told you guys that Woody Lee NeeChee, my rabbit pet has returned to earth. Now, my family is looking for a surrogate to fill in the blank and it must be as brown as like Woody.

GoodBye Woody

It was thursday that I was stunned, when I heard that she is forever a goner. All this days, she was our pride for her humongous size and she is our family, Woody Lee NeeChee. Is 3 years old enough for her? She was a brave yet curious pet who never afraid of thunder or stranger. Of course, I have to admit that she loves to eat and ate alot. That's why she is bulky.

She was still in good shape last Sunday... but she was suspected with tumor inside her tummy. I never get to see her for the last time when she passed on. The only way I can see her is from these pictures taken by my elder sister.

It's been a long time since my last tear drop.

It was me and my younger sister who brought her in but we never get to sent her off.

Rescue Dogs

My younger sister sent me this website http://www.mycen.com.my/rescue/ and she wants me to post about it. Well in short, there are hundred of stray dogs got stuck in one of the islands in Pulau Ketam. We are not sure on how and why they were been sent but they are dying. Now, the animal lover team had made their way to rescue and adopt these dogs.

The essential message: If you are looking for a dog to rare, adopt them here. By this action, you can save both lives and money which usually cost thousands ringgit per dog (in pet shop).

My elder sister is an animal lover. She often claims that she contributes to WWF but I have no idea how much she actually contributed. Maybe it's really mountainous since WWF has presented her certificate. She always wants me to talk about WWF here and finally I got its logo on my sidebar.

Oh yea, below is a coupon voting to saving our turtles. Turtles... Actually, the world cares and loves for animals, by providing every necessities that it could. Air, water, land, plants...
But why can't they survive? Because someone hunt for them which they skinned them alive, cut their head for their brains. Why these cruelties happen? Why? Shameful lar for I'm Chinese but seeing China doing all these.

"What about the cows, chickens, pigs and sheep? I never see angry comments on the cow slaughter videos on here. Equality people!!!"

Well I say,

"Everything has a limit, they are our natural prey then that's prey. Dogs? Since when we eat them? You say have equality, then why can't we eat you up as well? In fact, they do slaughter human ever since. All these happen because they never know there is a limit to every actions so to those who mention of this 'Equality'."

Faith, the two legged Dog

This is 'Faith'

This dog was born on Christmas Eve in the year 2002. He was born with 3 legs - 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg which need to be amputated. He of course could not walk when he was born. Even his mother did not want him. His first owner also did not think that he can survive. Therefore, he was thinking of 'putting him to sleep'. By this time, his present owner, Jude stringfellow, met him and wanted to take care of him. She is determined to teach and train this dog to walk by himself. Therefore she named him 'Faith'.

In the beginning, she put Faith on a surfing board to let him feel the movements. Later she used peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and reward for him to stand up and jump around. Even the other dog at home also helped to encourage him to walk. Amazingly, only after 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his 2 hind legs and jumped to move forward. After further training in the snow, he now can walk like a human being.
He is now becoming famous on the international scene. He has appeared on various newpapers and TV shows.

There is even one book entitiled 'With a little faith' being published about him. He was even considered to appear in one of Harry Potter movies.
His present owner Jude Stringfellew has given up her teaching post and plans to take him around the world to preach that even without a perfect body, one can have a perfect soul.
In life there are always undesirable things. Perhaps one will feel better if one changes the point of view from another direction. I hope everyone can appreciate and be thankful for each beautiful day that follows. Faith is the continual demonstration of the Strength of Life.

P.S: The owner is a great person with such patience hoping for miracle to happen. I solute her!

Dog's Story

Mah Serene send me this e-mail and I find it worth sharing. It starts with "Who said only human know what is love?"

Yes, animals are more deluded because of their capacity of their physical body, but
occasionally some of them might be able show us the love that we have forgotten on
our 'busy road'. Just like this story.

this is real touching...

Hey, wake up! wake up!

A dog was knocked down by a car and died on the middle of the road. Later, another dog is
seen beside the corpse of the dog, he tried to wake his friend up using his leg.

Let's move to the safer side of the road...i will move you to the safer side!

When his attempts to wake his friend failed, he tried to push his friend to the side of the
road. But the weight of his friend was proven too heavy for him.

Anyone help, tell me what to do.

Though the traffic is busy and dangerous, he just will not go away from his friend. Just
stand beside his friend howling and crying.


A lot of people saw this incident and feel very touched. How even a dog can show his loyalty and love to his friend.

Oh.... to all my dear friend, please appreciate and love the people you know and people who know you .................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
