Compass and Top Glove

What do you think about this picture above^^? It's a antique compass that was found in my grandmother's chest box. Cool huh~ If we are living in Harry Potter world, it might turn out to be a magical compass =) Agh, I'm watching too much of these movies and started to daydream. Anyway, compass is a mysterious object don't you think? It points direction without even needs of batteries. Sometimes I wander, who's that genius who created this thing called compass? Or it's just a coincidence that someone found this technology.

Anyway, nice shot!

As far as I know, most girls don't play sports. Maybe it's just a little rough game for them. And through observation, girls that sport and that don't have different personality. Hope that I'm right at this point or maybe you can try to observe it yourself.

Talking about type that I prefer...hm... Better don't say it here^^ Well, my elder sis has won the championship again in her company. This time she was also entitled as sportswomen of the year. Below are her trophies for netball and basketball.

just happened to read your entry involving that compass....
for an intriguing concept related to that, you should read Phillip Pullmans book "The Golden Compass" ~~ in that story is the tale of a girl who receives a magical item called an 'alethiometer'....its a compass that tells the truth about any situation that the user asks of it. hehe and yes it too doesn't need batteries ;) but unlike a regular compass it doesn't use magnetic poles to work, it harnesses an energy from something in the story called Dust (you have to read the book to figure out what Dust is) ~~
coolest compass i've ever read about in fiction ¤
