Revolution of Mr. Pan

Previously about 2 months ago I believe~ I told you guys that my school disallowed us to contact our own preferred company for internship =) Their reason of this decision is that they want to keep a strict record of everything about our industrial training =.= That is certainly not a bad idea after all~

However 2 months later they announced, "We tried to send your resume to the companies somehow they have yet to reply, so you guys must contact your company on your own."

(Oh! A better news than H1N1^^ As recently, most of my course-mates suffer similar illness with H1N1. Flu, Fever, Sore Throat etc)

I think some problem might arise during their postage, my "boss" said that he did not receive any mail from my school. That mail must be lost somewhere.

Anyway they further proclaimed, "When your chosen company had confirm you to have your internship there, come to see me again." Said Mr. Pan.

"See him?! Oh no…"

In our impression, he is someone that we better not to get involved with no matter what. Going to see him is like a disaster but we have no choice. You know what my preferred company said?

"You can just come in, you don't have to go through those weird procedure."

I wish I could but I can’t =.= So I went to see Mr.Pan. To my surprise, he is now so much different from whom he was last time. He became much cooperative and my friend joked “Someone must have complained him”. Haha~ After dealing all necessary stuffs, he requested me to remind him about faxing my resume ‘again’ to the company in the next 30 minutes which I had actually forgotten about it after that. 30 minutes later, he called me. Not rebuking me for not reminding him but instead he said "You forgot to tell me your name lar"

"!!Hahahaha" I'm speechless.

I have to work somewhere like this?Can I work in the office? Hahaha...

Sports Carnival Update

Few minutes ago, Martin text-ed me, telling me that my tennis group has been disbanded due to no female player. Haha~ What can I say? The group organization is not under my control anyway XD

In fact, I'm ill since Tuesday. For those who note my MSN personal message, you can see me posting "I'm 120% dead". I'm not joking! Tuesday is the worst day of my life I suppose. I thought that I'm going to die of H1N1. Hehe~ The next day was HanJian(my classmate) Birthday, I swallowed up 4 Panadol ActiFast to keep myself in shape for we celebrated it until midnight. Thursday was even worse, I got tennis training at evening and so I took another 2 (Panadols) yet my head was still spinning during training session. Coming Saturday, there will be a competition and then Sunday, Sports Carnival.

Before I got sick, I was like "Horrey! This week must be fun!" But after that, I was like "Gosh, can I cancel my participation in ____ _____?"

So when I received Martin sms, I was "Yes!" XD God cares for me that He wants me to rest at Sunday^^Before I end, allow me to promote Panadol ActiFast: "Eat too much, Die too fast" Wahahaha~^^~

Happy Birthday HanJian

Since this is a delayed post, I will just let everything straight to point^^ JooYen (HanJian gf) had this event planned one day before. We sang Karaoke but I have a high fever that time so I took 4 tablets of Panadols Acti-Fast throughout whole day. Knowing that I'm not an expert in Karaoke, JooYen assisted me in singing. This day, MeiNgor began to fall interest in YiZhong as she said he's serious in singing. After Karaoke, we continued our celebration at Steven's Corner with HanJian's Birthday Cake prepared. Rosie

I was named "Rosie" from a Facebook Quiz. This is totally insane! Whatever it is, this quiz is something wrong. My best friend told me that he is going to call me "Rosie" from today onwards. Sweat!~

The Internet connection is very weak nowadays. I wander why~ I can hardly access to Hotmail or Facebook. Gr... I feel like shouting "Kanasai"!

"Kanasai" is not Japanese although "Sai-Sai" word has often collaborate with Japanese sentences. "Kanasai" is Hokkien, meaning "Just like shit~" When we describe something as "shit", it is indeed something worthless. Or you wanna tell me that you actually like "shit"? Hahaha~

Anyway, I wasted 3 hours just to sign into my hotmail and facebook account. Within that 3 hours, my roommate's online game soundtrack keeps on rolling. Quiet irritated actually especially when someone is frustrated. Haha~ That's why I often use a headset to minimize that~

Ohya! I'm going to talk about "近朱者赤，近墨者黑" when I'm free next time. It is a Chinese proverb saying that "The gang you join up with will eventually affects your own personality in such you became exactly like them". Something like that. This is just a sneak preview on what I'm going to write. Haha~

When these two matters came across my life, I came to understand the true meaning of bondage. This is something I once experienced, and I declare it as my best experience. Both matters happen to be a conflict that raised due to misunderstandings and voiceless comments on post. Nevertheless, they bring forth different endings.

If I'm allowed to define further, true friendship can never be devoured by simply words or texts. One that values friendship is willing to lose by a good retreat. Then, good approaches come next. Well, is this what we usually practice? Never, but the hearts of those who value friendship will tell us to do so.

Silent treatment among friends is the worst of all for there is no direct break nor attach. It is like a barrier that we will notice each other yet we can't communicate.

In contrast, when one party finally approaches, did opponent responses with love and kindness? Or the barrier remains?

What am I proud of? The best was declared yet it never shows what it really means; we never declare we have the best bond yet we become the best.

Once I questioned: Why these have to happen one after another?

The reason is now known. They taught me how to differentiate: A relationship that both party treasure eventhough big waves that arise due misunderstandings cannot break it, is called true friendship. Lifetime miracle.

Thus I truly believe: Friendship is strengthen through trails, not through parties.

This gang, we called it "seven" since it happens to be seven of us.

I just happening to be active in Facebook after dumping it for years XD Haha~ Previously, my brother was hysterically praising Facebook’s for its application, encouraging me to practice it. Japanese Snack

My mom and elder sister went to Japan last week. Initially, the plan was visiting my younger sister who is currently there but they ended up touring instead XD According to them, Japan is indescribably classy and hygienic. Compared to Malaysia, no eye see =.= Plus, Japanese are tremendously civilized with courtesy even to the extent of a shopkeeper was willing to abandon his shop, leading my family when they were lost. In fact, no one will be stealing goods in the shop while the shopkeeper is gone.

Parenthetically, I heard there is a convenient shop far away at Fuji Mountain. The specialty of it is that the shop is opened with plenty of goods without anyone "guarding" it. Thus all customers will just leave the money at the counter when they fetch something from the shop. Unbelievable? This could never happen in other country than Japan I believe.

Sign~ I missed this trip when school was actually carrying Mid-Term Test. You know, I was thinking of giving up the tests but my mom barred me. Sad!

Anyway, they bought snack from Japan. Healthy snack indeed where I taste no plastic or wax XD
Last but not the least, their Japanese Fruit Sake. It tastes sweet, cooling yet warming... Don't know how to describe lar XD
If you have the chance, you must visit Japan to experience the meaning of paradise.

Machine Hunting

I guess I have not blog about the bridge competition that I going to participate this semester^^ Basically, this has something to do with my course subjects. We are to form a group consists of five, to built a stable bridge that is able to withstand 5 kg of load for 30 seconds. 30 Seconds only!!!! That is... short? long? I'm not sure how long will our design stands... Haha

Anyway, there rules for the competition. First, we need a creative concept which can stun the judges XD Then, we construct using only members of 5mm x 5mm. Arg... This is troublesome~ I wonder how other groups have been doing~

Currently, we had our design done but I'm afraid that I couldn't show you until the end of the competition which is falls the on end of Sept. Now, we are seeking tools for building. Above is a kit suggested by our Architect Liaw but guess what I'd found? Hehehe... I accidentally deleted the tools' pictures =P

Anyway, I really hope that our design will go through the first round and then the final!

McDonald's vs Burger King

McDonald's has been so famous for decades in Malaysia that some of the Malaysian do not even realize that Burger King exists. I mean this is true when we have to admit the true power and influence of McD advertisement in Malaysia. In fact, Burger King is more famous oversea same goes to Domino'sPizza. Thus in Malaysia, everything seems to be overturned =.= sweat~

Let's see what McD does =D First, they invite customers by distributing coupons, which simply deducting one ringgit~ Yes, one ringgit only!
After including taxes, a RM10 note is still not enough =D Cheap? Nah~
Being famous is one thing, which made the service worse. Since everyone is busy doing their work, they don't even smile to you or do according what you ask.
Customer: "Can I change the chicken wing to something else?"
Ans: "No!"

How rude!
Here they go back to job and we are not pleased.
By the way, do you guys realize that McD meals have become smaller and smaller? I mean all their burgers, chicken and fries.

Meanwhile for burger king~
Maybe they are too free that they will start a 'chit-chatting' session with customers.
Okay, that's not the main part. The stunning part is...
Burger king's burger is two times larger than the usual one. Tada~
So which one is more worth? McD or Burger King? Both of them have pros and cons but I like Burger King now. Tastier and bigger^^
